Pellet Analysing System (PA66)
The OCS Pellet Analysing System (PA66) is a modular instrument that can be used to analyze a variety of pellets, including highly transparent and opaque pellets. The system consists of three main components: the Pellet Scanner (PS25C), the Pellet Size and Shape Distribution Measurement System (PSSD), and the Colour Measurement System (CM3).
The Pellet Scanner (PS25C) uses a high-resolution color matrix camera to detect impurities that show a color deviation from the product. The Pellet Size and Shape Distribution Measurement System (PSSD) uses a line scan camera to classify pellets according to their morphological properties, such as over- and undersize, abrasion, and agglomerates. The Colour Measurement System (CM3) measures relevant color values (Yellowness Index [YI], Whiteness Index [WI], CIE Lab*, etc.) based on the recorded color spectrum.
