VIC-2D System

VIC-2D is a dedicated 2D Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system designed for planar specimens, providing non-contact measurement of in-plane displacement and full-field strain. The system automatically generates time‑based strain contour maps, enabling fast identification of strain concentrations across the specimen.

  • Non-contact testing: Eliminates the need for extensometers or physical sensors attached to the specimen.

  • High-speed capability: Compatible with ultra-high-speed imaging up to 5 MHz, depending on configuration.
  • Advanced visualization tools: The integrated iris graphics engine enhances visualization, reporting, and data export.
  • Microscale compatibility: Can be paired with microscopes, AFM, or SEM for micro-scale material research.
